This summer Gus' parents decided they wanted to spend their 25th anniversary in SLC with the whole family. We had a blast! We went to Raging Waters (my favorite part) and spent the afternoon playing mostly in the wave pool. The above picture is Gus and bottom left is Kathy, Katie and myself.
Gus got to go with his family to his favorite resturant "Rodizio Grill". Gus went on his mission to Brazil and we have both been to Rodizio before but this was a first for his family. He kept making jokes like 'and you thought I was starving"! The sad truth is that in Brazil these buffets like this only cost 5$ in american money. It was fun to share this with his family!Ahh, now for Ian's favorite part-Mini Coopers! Ian is a huge Mini Cooper fan, and thanks to Gus he finall
y got to ride in one. We found a dealership in Murray and pretend like we were interested in buying one so that Ian could ride along. Honestly, it was amazing! I felt like we were in a race car, Gus took a curve in the road that should have been taken at about 35 MPH at 55 MPH! Ian and I were looking for something to hold onto in the back and it was amazing to feel the car hug the road. Interesting fact though, they didn't have any Mini's for sale on the lot you have to wait 3-6 months depending on which model. Ohh, and this is a picture of the one we drove.

That looks like so much fun... those mini's.... Coleman and i almost bought one a few years ago... they are SUPER fun to drive! the one we drove was turbo-ed.... it was a fast little sucker!
